In November the chief of Family club and director of Community Center Inessa Chugaynova discussed a question of annual family camp. She offered to joint departure of family club and children - teenagers - so that the senior generation took active part in realization of Bar-Mitsva and Bat-Mitsva.

Everyone approached this question seriously and responsibly - both adults and children prepared for a celebration.

January 4, 26 teenagers and children, 17 families of 2, 3 generations gathered in sanatorium "Kazakhstan".

For the teenagers Bar-Mitsva and Bat-Mitsva - is large and important holiday. It is not just celebrating of full-age. Bar-Mitsva - means "the son of commandment", the one who is obliged to keep them. Since 13 years old the Jewish boy would be responsible before G-d for the acts, for observance mitzvoth. From this age to the boy is done the honour of climbing to Torah, it is set off at the collection of minyan. And that is to become the adult. The girl becomes full age in12 years old. In time of Bat-Mitsva she pronounces dvar Torah - interpretation of a fragment from Torah.

The authoritative members of a community Svetlana Nezhinskaya, Lubov Koretskaya, Gennady Nezhinsky and Arkady Plotkin prepared the boys and girls for the given event. All of them were well prepared for such large event in a community, had studied the necessary literature and informed with the teenagers the memoirs on celebrating of majority. Then children passed examination on the Jewish Tradition - told about realization of Shabbat and Avdala, about ritual of Bar-Mitsva and Bat-Mitsva, and answered other questions concerning life of the Jewish people and life of our community. The classes on tradition replaced by trainings on teambuilding, definition of needs(requirements), which conducted Ocsana Abdukadirova from youth club.

January 6 has come long-awaited and exciting day. On a holiday there have arrived the visitors - president of Association "Mitsva" Alexandr Baron, main editor of the newspaper "Davar" Isaac Dvorkin and, certainly parents, and grandparents of our adult children. The realization of a holiday was undertaken by our skilled anchorwoman Svetlana Nezhinskaya. She told about tradition and history of realization of ritual. And there comes the crucial moment, in a hall under a rough applause of present, enter excited, beautiful and well-dressed 18 boys and girls. Everyone makes words of the obligations, which he or she undertakes to carry out in adult life.

Ilya Zaltsman - "I shall aspire be honour, as the patriarchs of the Jewish people". Diana Jarlkaganova - "I want, that I and my parents had true friends, as Elizar". Alexandr Baron acted with parting words and presented each teenager the main book of the Jews Torah. For each of the guys he had the individual wish, and it is not casual, you see children grew in front of his very eyes. The teenagers were congratulated by the chief of Family club Sara Dotzenko, director of Community Center and mum of one of participants of Bat-Mitsva Inessa Chugaynova and main editor of the newspaper "Davar" Isaac Dvorkin. From youth acted Maria Kuzmenko and Zarina Jarlkaganova, which in August, 2003 were the participants of Bat-Mitsva. The parents congratulated with words of gratitude; the grandmothers furtively wiped tears: "How fast they grew!"

Monday of January 7 was completely given up to sports. Realization of Makkabiada undertaken Ruslan Archakov and member of youth and family club Roman Dukov. Were carried out: relay race, volleyball match, water polo, swimming, table tennis, chess-draughts tournaments.

Except for the basic measure all 52 participants of camp also wonderfully spent leisure. Children and families with pleasure played in intellectual games "Connoisseurs" under the direction of Alexandr Dotzenko. The verses of Eleonora Meerzon and statements of bards of family club Alexandr Silin and Natalie Butenko did not leave indifferent.

In preparation and realization of discos the youth engaged, and they managed to do it perfectly. Thanks to Maria Kuzmenko, Eremin Sasha, Kozeritsky Roman, Murenko Olesya.

Summing up this measure, we would like to note importance of a unification of the senior generation with youth under light of the Jewish Tradition.
