Traditionally we organize Seder in the community and everyone can participate in it. Community Seder is very much like a family holiday. The only difference is that participants are not relatives to each other. We, Jews, celebrate the holiday altogether as a family. There are children, their parents, youth activists, and elderly people. We sit at a feast table together side by side and listen to the story told by Vladimir Lyakhovetskiy.


Everybody was in a good mood. The atmosphere was very friendly. We had guests from other ethnical-cultural centers, and everybody prepared a musical performance devoted to the Jewish holiday of Passover.


The concert started with the performance of our young musicians, Vadim Chashkov playing clarinet and Arkadiy Shleifer playing saxophone. Children always make any event a cheerful party. They sang the song "Pharaoh and frogs". And of course, the Jewish sense of humor made the concert a success. Parodies performed by Ninnel Berelovich were accompanied by laughter and applause. We had a lot of fun, danced a lot, told jokes, and sang traditional Jewish songs all together.


It was a lot of work to create such a wonderful holiday. We give the greatest credit to Hesed Director Petr Rubinshtein and Director of Food Program Zoya Firenshtein. We will remember this Seder as a wonderful event in our lives.
